How can it be? Maia is now 3!

Yes, it's true. Our sweet little Maia Jeanette is now 3 years old. On May 18th, Maia celebrated her 3rd birthday. She is still, if not more so, a bundle of energy! She still enjoys singing/songwriting, playing with playdough, cooking in her kitchen (her favorite things to cook are macaroni and birthday cake), and playing outside with our dog Piper. Of course, as her parents, we think she is quite brilliant. But, we are frequently reminded of this by other adults, and even complete strangers. Our favorite thing to hear is when she says, "I love Jesus so much!" Our response is always He loves you so much too! Since turning 3, she has already had many big changes in her little life. She is now sleeping in a big twin size bed, this week she started gym buddy classes, and she will start preschool in September! But mostly, she is very excited about the arrival of baby "stister" joining our family in about 8 weeks! So there is a little update on our big girl, who in case you can't tell, we kind of like!
