Christmas Morning

We woke up early Christmas morning and did gifts with just our family. And it was extra special because, even though they're not pictured, Papa and Gramma Carol were there too and got to watch the girls open their gifts.

Maia's daddy picked out these books from the Little Miss and Mr. Men series. They're peculiar little books and so of course Maia loves them.

Maia shows off her new rain jacket, umbrella and rain boots she got. Those are sure to come in handy since it rains all the time here! :) What can I say? I knew she'd love them and they were a great price from Gymboree online. And the three times a year it does rain here, she'll be most styilsh 3 year old around.

The Whole Reed Gang

We pretty muched capped off all the Christmas festivities with the whole Reed bunch. Sammy's (Granddaddy's) sister, Nancy, from Big Spring came and also Sandy, from Tulsa, and her family was there too. It was so good to see everyone. We don't get to see them nearly enough and it was great to have them spend some time with our girls.

A Churchmouse Christmas

Maia had her very first Preschool Choir performance this past Sunday night. She did so great! All the little ones looked so cute, dressed as little mice. Truthfully, Maia could have had a speaking part this time, but Mrs. Smith has a rule that she doesn't give speaking parts or solos to the first timers. But she volunteered that Maia would be ready next time. Maia loves little choir and her table leader, Ms. LaRue. All the workers do such a great job, and we're blessed that Maia is in a program that teaches her the beauty of music and the love and goodness of Christ.
