And Uncle Jake met Woody! Despite Woody's best efforts, Maia would not go up to him. I guess the fact that he was over 7 ft tall frightened her a bit!

Getting ready to take off ... or so we thought. It actually turned out to be another 4 1/2 hours before we left the Midland airport. Long story...


This is pretty much how we all felt after the day we'd had trying to get to California.


Even though we'd heard how it was always so beautiful and sunny in Costa Mesa, it was gloomy and misted almost everyday we were there. But this day it cleared up and we were glad because the view was very nice. It's not every day we get to see snow covered mountains living in West Texas!

On December 6th, we found out Maia was going to be a big sister!


Sure, she's happy now, but wait until she has to start sharing her things...


We told our family at Christmas, by Maia wearing this shirt when we all got together to celebrate.

Our sweet Maia was a cowgirl for Halloween this year. She loved her cowgirl hat and her pink boots! And so did everyone else.
