Preschool Pumpkin Patch

Maia's Preschool class got to go visit the Pumpkin Patch this week. I had a lot of respect for those teachers after witnessing them try to keep up with all those busy 3 and 4 year olds. Josie and I met Gigi there and it was so much fun to watch Maia interact with her classmates. She is a little loner you know, so she did spend much of the time wondering around by herself. But she does come by that honestly. She did so well though. It was such a blessing to see her being so obedient to the teachers and the "rules" of the pumpkin patch. There were a couple kids that were a little more rambunctious and I'm proud to say that Maia wasn't one of them!

The preschoolers got to listen to a volunteer read some books for them. Well Maia LOVES books and obviously got super into the stories. If you listen closely, you can hear her sweet little voice over all the others. (sorry about the blue tint to the videos.)

In almost every picture Maia is never looking at the camera. She's always checking out where she needs to be next.

Halloween Costume Preview!


Maia got to wear her costume to Preschool Choir on Sunday night. She makes one cute Minnie Mouse! Special thanks to Shanny for sewing her skirt. :)

Preschool Open House

Maia's Preschool had open house on Thursday night. We went and got to see everything she's been working on and got to meet some more of the teachers. We say quite often that we're so glad we chose First Presbyterian Preschool. Maia loves it and she's really thriving.


Any suprise that this child would be the class Line Leader? Probably not.

Okay, so I never thought I'd be one of "those" moms that would put her daughters in matching clothes. What can I say...Guilty! But I'm sorry, it just doesn't get much cuter than this.

I'm ashamed to say, this is the first picture we have with Robert and both girls. But I think the only one we have with both girls and me is maybe in the hospital after Josie was born... We've got to get better! :)

Even though our Ags are having a "not so great" year, Maia is a true fan and shows her support. Gig 'em Maia!

Maia started Cubbies in September. AWANA is a program our church offers to children that teaches them to know, love and serve Christ. After completing her first book - which partly consisted of memorizing three verses - Maia earned her Cubbies vest. We're so proud of you sweet Maia and are so in love with you! We pray you'll always follow after God and hide the truths of His Word in your heart.
