Well, not only do these pics show what a little lump of sugar our little Josie is, but they're also proof positive that she has entered into the drooling stage of infancy. Thank goodness for the invention of the bib.

Our friend Bethany LeRoy bought these shirts for the girls when she was in New York this summer. Josie is finally big enough to wear hers so of course it was a photo opp. What isn't when you have little ones? We hope to take the girls to the Big Apple some day, and surely they'll love it as much as their Momma and Daddy.

Trick or Treating

Shanny finishes off trick or treating by giving Maia some Reese's Peanut Butter cup. Not a bad way to call it quits!

We told Maia we could only go to the houses that had their lights on. So when we would finish with one house, she said, "I want to go to another light house!"


We stopped by to see Aunt Amy, or Ms. Rydell as her students call her, at the MCS football game because she wanted to see the girls. That is actually where Maia got most of her candy.


At the game Maia saw one of her preschool classmates, Joshy Reed, whose mother's name is Heather oddly enough. :)

Preschool Pumpkin Party

Maia's school had a Pumpkin Party on Friday. All the kids got to dress up and the parents came up and decorated the room for them. Maia had a such a fun time.

All the children had a lot of fun wearing their costumes.

Preschool Pumpkin Patch

Maia's Preschool class got to go visit the Pumpkin Patch this week. I had a lot of respect for those teachers after witnessing them try to keep up with all those busy 3 and 4 year olds. Josie and I met Gigi there and it was so much fun to watch Maia interact with her classmates. She is a little loner you know, so she did spend much of the time wondering around by herself. But she does come by that honestly. She did so well though. It was such a blessing to see her being so obedient to the teachers and the "rules" of the pumpkin patch. There were a couple kids that were a little more rambunctious and I'm proud to say that Maia wasn't one of them!

The preschoolers got to listen to a volunteer read some books for them. Well Maia LOVES books and obviously got super into the stories. If you listen closely, you can hear her sweet little voice over all the others. (sorry about the blue tint to the videos.)

In almost every picture Maia is never looking at the camera. She's always checking out where she needs to be next.
